Pathfinder Finds Life on Mars

Nasa Suppresses Data One Week Into Mission

July 10, 1997

Less than a week into Pathfinder's mission to Mars, an unnamed NASA source revealed that the space agency and counterparts in the Air Force are covering up evidence of life on Mars and possible extraterrestrial monitoring of our own space program.

Much to the surprise of NASA scientists, one of the first rocks photographed on Mars' surface was a virtual clone of the famous "Martian Meteorite" that gave rise to speculation of the existence of life on Mars 3.6 billion years ago. This knowledge was held back from the public and the photographs were altered while NASA and security experts in the Clinton administration debate the implications.

The Martian Monolith

The Martian rock, nicknamed Monolith 2 is believed to be a virtual replica of the 4.5 billion year old meteorite ALH84001 which NASA scientists believe may prove the existence of extraterrestrial micro organisms from MAR

This published Pathfinder photograph seems to show empty ground and small rocks, in an area where, in reality, NASA discovered an almost exact duplicate of the 4.5 billion-year-old meteorite ALH84001

The real photograph shows Monolith 2 in place on the Martian surface. While NASA experts were busy doctoring photos, television viewers believed NASA was waiting for the air bags to withdraw.
