Bush-Lite says, “Get Out of Town”

Tuesday, 3/17/03: President Bush-Lite told Sodomist Hussein to get out of town by sundown Monday night. Then, realizing it was already sundown, gave him 48 hours. The only one surprised by his announcement was Bush-Lite himself who was surprised no one else was surprised. After all, he's been saying an all out attack wasn't inevitable.

Guess he didn't hear the snickers in the audience.

Bush-Lite said he was forced to go to war because diplomacy failed. ABC (All Bought by Corporate) News legitimized the military onslaught with a three-hour special "When Diplomacy Fails." What diplomacy failed? Not their attempt to get Sodomist Hussein to peacefully disarm, because they never made the attempt. The failed diplomacy was their attempt to strong arm the rest of the world into agreeing with Bush-Lite's agenda.

A friend of mine was deeply disturbed that the Bush administration completely ignored the protests and candlelight vigils promoting peace. If any one out there believes their pro-peace efforts were wasted then they missed the point.

Bush-Lite was always going to war. Hell, Haliburton (aka Dick Cheney) bought the rights to every well in Iraq before the election. We were never not going to war. The War Machine known as the Bush administration was gearing up for this when they called overseas the day after the election and told their buddies in the military to get those late ballots in because the election was up for grabs.

So why protest? Why light those candles?

To let the War Machine know we don't buy it. We can't be fooled.

Today All Bought by Corporate News released a poll saying 71% of Americans now support the war, up 12% from last week. I don't know where they came up with that number because everyone who talked to me today said they were upset about the war. And I live in Texas where people carry their guns to McDonalds in case they need to shoot a terrorist behind the cash register.

Keep up the protest because they can lie on TV, they can lie in the papers, but they can't lie on the street corners, at the prayer vigils, in the coffeehouses, at work, and wherever anyone with a brain hangs out.

Never Rush to judgment. Think for yourself.
