Prior to the 2000 elections, the liberal my ass media devoted almost an hour to criticize Vice President not-elected Dick Cheney for not voting in previous elections. Recent revelations show that Cheney cast a ballot more powerful than most of us can cast. Cheney's ballot was green and is often referred to as “money.”
Cheney is one of a new wave of voters determined to make their vote count by handing their ballots directly to the officials they want to elect. This new voting process consists of giving a green ballot to the candidate voters support. The ballots have the advantage of allowing voters to case their votes at any time before the election and make sure the candidate remembers the voter after the election as well. Green ballots also come in multiple denominations.
Recent revelations about Cheney’s past votes show that candidates he supported were so grateful they rewarded his company with contracts that allowed him to over bill the Pentagon for hundreds of thousands of dollars.
Cheney would like to see this new voting method made standard for all Americans. If green ballots can help guys like Dick, why shouldn't they help us as well?
