Trainings
We conduct training over 3 or 5 days, and customize five day training to client needs (sales, organizational development, conflict resolution, etc.) Tracings are project-based to involve participants in the learning and teaching process.
Training materials don’t cross over, although occasional training will touch on topics discussed in other training
Workshops
Workshops condense materials into a one day overview of materials developed in depth during training Workshops then to be more lecture based than hands on, although they incorporate some participant feedback.
Daily training and workshop sessions last 5 to 6 hours. We conduct training and workshops on the following three topics:
Total Thinking
A seminar in the total thinking approach to problem solving, development and communication. The seminars teach participants to develop metaphoric thinking and awareness in order to build a whole brain repertoire of creative skills.
Total Thinking workshops can be tailored to specific content areas, including
Total Reading
A seminar on creative and interactive reading designed to facilitate both rapid access to and more thorough assimilation of written words. The seminars will teach readers to read e-mail, proposals, reports, books, journals and other information necessary to conduct their work or study.
Total Communication
A seminar on presenting information based on principles of audience reading, listening and viewing ability. Materials teach participants to develop effective writing, e-mail, presentation and discussion skills.
